Exhibit
show will be set up in the Governor’s
Ballroom at the Grand Traverse Resort.
Program
Advertising Blocks:
Ad space is available to Exhibitors in the conference program
in business card-sized blocks (2”x3.5” horizontal)
for $100 per block.
Ad blocks
can be stacked into larger ads (2 blocks = a half-page of
4”x3.5”). Ads cannot exceed 8” in height
(4 blocks) and can never exceed 3” in width.

Additional
Equipment & Services:
Exhibitors will receive a packet from Art Craft Display, Inc.
with confirmation details prior to the conference.
Electrical, phone, and internet service will be coordinated
through the Grand Traverse. Details to follow.
Shipping will be done through Art Craft Display, Inc. The
Grand Traverse Resort does not have storage space and will
not accept bulk exhibit items sent to them. Shipping instructions
will be included in confirmation packet.
Additional
Attendees:
Exhibit registration comes with one complimentary full registration.
This is in addition to complimentary registrations that are
part of MASA Sponsor benefit packages. Additional company
representatives can register as Secondary Attendees for $100
apiece or for full conference participation for $250.
Secondary
Attendees have access to Exhibit Show functions, the Rose
Memorial Luncheon on Thursday, and the Sponsor
Appreciation Reception Thursday evening.

Registration
Process and Confirmation:
Exhibitors must be MASA business affiliates or sponsors in
good standing for the 2007-08 membership cycle to be eligible
for exhibit space at the 2008 Fall Conference. Membership
is constituted by dues paid in full as either a Sponsor or
Business Affiliate of MASA.
Exhibit
applications will be accepted in order of 2007-08 membership
level. Highest priority will be given to Sponsors of the Leadership
level, followed by Platinum, Gold, then Silver, and finally,
Business Affiliates.
A signed
Membership
Commitment form (also part of the exhibit registration form) will serve as a good faith agreement between
MASA and signatory organization until membership/renewal invoices
can be distributed by MASA for the 2007-08 member cycle.
Payments for the exhibit space will not be processed by MASA
until exhibit space agreement has been confirmed between MASA
and the applicant organization.

Show
Rules:
- Exhibitors
must be a 2007-08 Business Member or a Sponsor of MASA to
be eligible to lease space. Renewal invoices will not be
available until May but a signed
Membership Commitment form (part of the exhibit registration form) will satisfy this requirement until payment is
received.
- Exhibitors
receive one complimentary registration per booth (in addition
to any complimentary registrations associated with Sponsorship).
Exhibitors are required to designate this complimentary
registrant and submit a list of additional exhibit staff
who will be allowed to attend exhibit functions only (see
above for Additional Attendees policy).
- Installation
of exhibits will take place from 8:00am to 10:30am on September
26.
- Removal
of all exhibits on September 27 will begin at 12 noon and
concludes no later than 4:30pm. All exhibits must be packed
by 5:30pm on Thursday, September 27. All related materials
shall be removed from the exhibit hall at this time. MASA
will charge for removal of any materials left on the show
floor.
- No
refunds will be provided for cancellation of exhibit space
once a registration form is signed unless MASA is able to
resell the space.
- Exhibits
must not interfere or obstruct the view of other exhibits.
MASA reserves the right to relocate exhibitors or adjust
floor plans to accommodate the best interests of the show.
- Promotion
materials of any kind for organizations other than those
who have engaged exhibit space are prohibited.
- Space
is leased with the understanding that the exhibitor will
hold MASA, the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, and its owners
harmless from any or all liabilities, including injury to
any person or damage of any person or property. Each exhibitor
is responsible for acquiring the proper insurance.
- Security
of property and equipment is the responsibility of the exhibitor.
The exhibit hall will be locked during non-show times, but
no designated security personnel will be assigned to the
area. Exhibitors are encouraged to secure all valuables
when not present at the booth.
- Only
registered exhibitors will be admitted to the exhibit hall.
All attendees must register to enter the exhibit hall and
must present their official conference badge.
- If
MASA should be prevented from holding the exhibit show for
any reason beyond MASA’s control, then MASA has the
right to cancel the show or any part thereof with no further
liability to the exhibitor other than a refund of exhibit
fees less a proportionate share of the exposition cost incurred.
- All
laws and ordinances pertaining to health, fire prevention,
public safety, and state sales tax are the responsibility
of exhibitors to know while participating in this show.
