Budget Update
An executive order totaling $344 million in spending cuts to the 2006-07 fiscal year will be presented Thursday to the House and Senate Appropriations committees, Governor Jennifer Granholm told reporters. To close the gap remaining, Senate Republicans plan to pass a negative supplemental that could amount to $600 million in cuts, sources said. More>
