Superintendents continue to grow through SELF |
|||||||
SELF (Superintendents Emerging Leader Forum) is a unique learning forum comprised of superintendents who are interested in improving the quality and productivity of their school districts. This program is part of the MASA Toolkit and serves superintendents who come from school districts of various sizes and have a broad range of experience. The participants quickly learn they have much in common as each meeting of the SELF Program focuses on pertinent issues presented by the participants. The discussion also includes a time for members to share a “Point of Pride” with superintendents in the group. SELF sessions also include time for general discussion on other topics that emerge. Throughout the year, four meetings are held in each of four regions of the state. Participating superintendents take turns hosting the meetings within their regions. The meetings run from 9:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. and CEU credits are available for those who desire to register for credit. Fall 2007 dates and locations are presented below for each of the four groups with the spring date and locations to be determined during the first meeting in each area. Western Michigan:
Central Michigan:
