Comprehensive Needs Assessment is topic of planned MDE focus groups

The MDE is inviting teams of ISD/RESA Administrators, consultants and local district representatives to participate in focus groups gathering input into the Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA) for ISD/RESAs.

The Office of School Improvement has developed a variety of school-level and a district-level School Improvement Planning tools including the Comprehensive Needs Assessment (C.N.A). The ISD C.N.A. is designed to assist ISD/RESAs create and use an Action Portfolio that will guide and inform the ISD’s Continuous School Improvement Planning Process.

Five ISD focus group sessions will gather input from ISD/ RESA and School District Partners on exemplary practices in how to measure its effectiveness:
