When a member faces a contract or other issue that requires legal advice, MASA provides options. A call to MASA will put you in touch with either the Executive Director or one of the Associates who will work with you on determining whether or not a referral needs to be made to a lawyer.

Legal assistance is available to MASA primary members. MASA’s attorney is vastly experienced in providing employment/contract consultation to school leaders and can offer a wealth of information and advice. Eligibility for financial assistance is based on a formula based on length of MASA membership.
