Online course targets integrating Internet resources

Starting August, 1, 2008

Michigan LearnPort ® has created a new online course, “Integrating Blended Instruction into Your Classroom.” This new instructor-led course will help individuals explore the instructional strategy of “blended instruction,” a format that combines the interactive learning environment of the face-to-face classroom with the content-rich resources of the Internet.

Participants will use CareerForward ™ as a basis for exploration and reflection, learn about blended instruction, and have the opportunity to create a lesson plan based on selected strategies offered in this media-rich course. Regardless of whether one will be teaching CareerForward ™ or any other course, this professional development opportunity will prepare teachers to use blended instruction effectively in the classroom to improve student outcomes.

Visit Michigan LearnPort® now to register for this SBCEU-earning course that starts August 1, 2008.
