MDE will present information on Personal Curriculum |

The state’s new high school graduation requirements allow for schools to develop an individual modified Personal Curriculum for students. As all school districts should have, or should be developing, their own processes for these Personal Curriculums, many questions have arisen as to what the Personal Curriculum is, and what such a process should entail. At its Wednesday, November 12 meeting, the State Board of Education will hear a detailed presentation by the Michigan Department of Education on Personal Curriculums. The presentation will be conducted during the State Board’s morning session, which begins at 9:30 a.m. You can view this presentation streamed live via the internet through a link you can find Tuesday morning at the Michigan Department of Education homepage: www.michigan.gov/mde or view it at a later date from the MDE video archive link at http://www.michigan.gov/sbevideo NOTE: The State Board of Education meeting is on WEDNESDAY, November 12 rather than the customary Tuesday meeting due to the Veteran’s Day holiday this month.
