Dollar General gives back to schools |

|
Schools can apply for the Dollar General Back to School Grants program, which is designed to assist school libraries or media centers within Dollar General’s 35-state service area. Grants of up to $5,000 may be applied to defray the cost of enhancing or expanding school libraries or media centers through new programming, or the purchase of new equipment, materials, and/or software. Interested K-12 schools within 20 miles of a Dollar General store must take an online eligibility quiz in order to access the online application. All applications are due May 22, 2009.
