Honorable Mention

Engineering Projects In Community Service (EPICS) program
Dr. Dan Tighe, Caseville Public Schools

Dr. Tighe has led his school in an EPICS (Engineering Projects In Community Service) Project that has turned into a huge assesst for their school and community. This effort has provided great community service opportunities for their students while addressing real needs within the Caseville community. Dr. Tighe's leadership with this EPICS project has brought all of the local governmental entities together working on a common goal.

This project has resulted in the establishment and expansion of community recreational facilities while addressing a common environmental concern of water purification.  It has also launched a secondary project of common interest in the development of a fish rearing initiative.
