Michigan Cyber Safety Initiative (CSI) opens
registration for 2010-11

Limited dates still available for free assemblies this school year!

Since September 2007, Michigan Cyber Safety Initiative (Michigan CSI) has educated more than 545,000 kindergarten through eighth grade students in more than 425 schools.

The Michigan CSI community seminar has also been presented to about 17,500 adults.  This FREE award winning program offers age appropriate and professional assemblies conducted by experts working with the Michigan Attorney General's Office.

Registrations are now being accepted for the 2010-2011 school year.

The program is engaging and the presenters effectively relate to the children. The multi media assemblies clearly communicate the important message of Internet safety, including teaching responsible online behavior and why children should avoid cyber harassment and sharing inappropriate material on their cell phones.

Additional program details, a registration form, and a one-page example of positive press and excerpts from actual feedback forms are attached. Scheduling is EASY.  Just go to www.michigan.gov/csi and click on the "Registration Form" button hear the bottom of the page.  Once you register, you will receive an e-mail acknowledgement within two business days.

Questions can be directed to AGCSI@michigan.gov or by calling Jenifer
Esch, Program Manager, at 517-373-6786, or Kimberly Harps,
Scheduler/Coordinator, at 517-241-8321.

Act now!
Limited space is available during the remainder of the 2009-2010 school year so some schools still have time to implement this training before summer vacation when many children will have increased online access.
